Pro: Easy swim to the drop off where we swam with black tips sharks and turtles. We came first week of March and we were the only people on the beach. Public showers are available. The finest sand is the at the south part of beach Con: No bathroom facilties Careful walking as there are many land crab holes.

We came here specifically to snorkel one of the few public beaches on the island. Unfortunately, the coral has been hit pretty hard by overuse and there is algae covering nearly all the coral. However, I was surprised by the large fish population considering how poorly the coral is doing. Beach is worth is visit even if you don't snorkel.... More

We were staying in an air bnb a few kilometres away and cycled here for a mornings snorkelling. Well worth a visit! If you swim beyond the shallower coral reefs the sea bed drops and you get a deeper better view! We saw a few rays swimming past right at the edge of the water though while we were just... More

As with many beaches in Tahiti, this one is lovely and worth a visit. Water is very clear but believe there is quite a current so be careful. Disappointing that there are no toilets here.

This was a fabulous beach and staying just down the road we came here on 2 different days for swimming etc.Just had to watch out not to park our car under the coconut trees in case of falling coconuts.

My wife and I stayed in a private apartment close to that beach, so we had plenty of opportunities to explore it. What I liked: + crystal clear blue water + nice corals to do some relaxed snorkeling + small sandy strip just before getting into the water (unlike Temae beach this one has really sand) + almost no human... We explored this on our own. We found the beach at Intercontinental resort to be more to our liking but it was fun to visit.

This is a very nice public beach. The water is blue, clean and clear. The beach is also very clean which was a pleasant surprise since it is a public beach. This is a great place to enjoy a picnic so pack up some sandwiches if you plan to swim here.

We had trouble finding this beach as I expected to find a large white sand beach. What we found was a park setting on the waterfront with a narrow golden sand beach. The snorkelling was very good, the best we experienced on the island. We brought a picnic lunch and were invited to join a group of teachers for food... More

Easy street parking with pretty short walk to the beach. There's no public restrooms or resturants near. We did see a pizza truck around many meal times. They have nice picnic tables and plenty of shade....don't get to close to the coconut trees. Getting hit on the head by a coconut wouldn't be fun. We enjoyed seeing all the yachts... More
