Transport is a must as the shops are widespread if one is walking. the lagoon is beautiful, near Amuri it could do with another 500mm at low tide and... More

Nothing can prepare for the visual sensory overload. It was love at first sight from the; Range of blues in the pristine lagoon. Pure white talcum powder beaches framed with swaying coconut palm groves Put simply; it is an untouched paradise created by Mother Nature no man can match.

Aitutaki is simply paradise! The large lagoon is surrounded by coral reefs and a chain of small palm covered islands. The lagoon is ideal for snorkelling with large numbers of tropical fish. We flew in to the airstrip from Rarotonga with great views of the islands and the lagoon. Waking up to views across the sandy beach to the turquoise... More

Visited with Vaka Cruise. A most amazing color of aqua! It also helped that the tour personnel were so friendly and wonderfully talented.

A day on the lagoon, only 9 guests and Captain TeKing. His lagoon knowledge is unsurpassed. We saw the wreck, one foot island, purple coral and enjoyed a beautiful BBQ lunch. The most amazing snorkelling on the planet. Thank you TeKing.

What a stunningly beautiful island. Make sure you walk around the whole Island but wear footwear if you do. Take your underwater camera for the giant clams and coral just sitting in the middle of of the lagoon.

Words or pictures don't do the colors of this lagoon justice. It's an ever changing electric blue that changes with the sunlight and weather conditions. It's beautiful in every condition.

One could go on and on about this spot, smack dab in the middle of the Pacific, but I'll leave it simple - it is one of THE most beautiful places on the planet (and I have seen other Pacific paradises). Hard to believe the sea can have so many shades of stunning pristine blue, ringed by white sand and... More
