Great out ad back hike/ ski 12 months of the year. Fun fishing in the early summer great blueberries in AUG/SEPT. Good place to go for a family backpack overnight.

You will find firewood, at least until you approach the lake, which is at a higher elevation. If you are going to camp in the vicinity of the lake, I'd bring a jet boil.
