The tour starts with a 10 minute jet boat ride across Gastineau Channel. At the beach you meet your guides and they will escort you up to the outfitting shelter for a thorough orientation. After getting geared up and loaded onto our Mercedes Benz Unimog you will ride up the mountain to the top of the course. There is a short up-hill hike to the first platform from which you will descend through the trees and over the ruins of the Treadwell Gold Mine. There are 10 ziplines, 2 suspension bridges and you finish the course with a 42 foot rappel returning to ground near the outfitting shelter. Before you get back on the boat, we have a small shop where you can purchase an action photo from the last zipline or a t-shirt or sweatshirt to remember your excursion. The tour lasts a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Come fly through trees with us!

This was something we wanted to do as a Family on our cruise to Alaska. Stop at Alaska Canopy and had a great afternoon. Our hosts: Mike and Kathy were amazing. We felt very comfortable with our gear which allowed us to really enjoy the scenery in the woods. Great weather was a bonus!

This ziplining adventure was well worth it and much more intriguing than others that I have done. The group meets near the docks adjacent to the Mount Roberts Tramway. Then, you hop aboard a boat to get to the island where the ziplining adventure will take place. NEXT, you are suited up with your gear, and you hop aboard a... More

Did the Alaska Canopy tour with friends we were cruising with. Make and Zachary were our guides and they were truly amazing! We had a great time from the moment they met us at the ship until they dropped us off. This is not for the height challenged and you need to have endurance, but for these old 60+ guys... More

Beautiful area for zip lining but unfortunately one of our guides was so rude and inpatient which completely ruined the experience! I was so fortunate to have zip lined in Victoria last summer and had an awesome fun experience. It was everything I thought it would be and more. Our guides for my first experience made all the difference!! I... More

My husband and I and our three teen-aged boys did the zipline excursion in August. Getting there was half the fun as we first took a boat, then a unimog. Our group was just the five or us and one other person. Our two guides were awesome! Fun and laid back. There were plenty of different lines, and the pace... More

There were nine in our group from a cruise ship. We had 2 young people and their Mum and the rest of us were 60 or 0ver. We all had an amazing time, it was wet but not cold, fast but no screamers! We all wanted to go again, "that was a great practise run, time for the real thing"... More

Awesome place. Great staff. We had Mike and Zach and they were a blast. Beautiful scenery and some pretty high and fast ziplines. If you are a little afraid of heights, I wouldn't recommend it but if you love zipping down a line at 40 MPH, DO IT!!!! I would recommend this to anybody. On a boat across the bay... More

The tour starts in Juneau and the boat takes you to south coast of Gastinau channel. From beach up the stairs to the lodge where the safety gear is distributed and first safety brief is done. After a short drive with the 4x4 we arrive to starting point. A second safety brief is done here with a short test ride... More

Very professional team (Amanda and Mike) but hilarious! Never felt unsafe. Made the experience a lot of fun. Very patient and did not rush us. Another guest had a panic attack after the first practice ride and needed to get down. Amanda was great in helping her return to base - always being encouraging. Wish we bought the photos at... I've zip lined before, but this was my first time with ACA. I love that they encourage you to be silly, have fun, but keep safety at the forefront. This is a zipline where you hand brake - whereas some you don't have to do it yourself. That's the only part I didn't care for, but only because I was... More
