Thought this was to be an excellent trip but was a total flop. The boat was that packed by the time our bus arrived we needed to stand. We saw a couple of whales over 600 meters away. Hopeless. Also the lunch was a letdown...More

We did the combo Mendenhall Glacier/Whale watch as part of our cruises' stop in Juneau. As referenced on trip advisor, we booked ahead and saved $$$ as well as avoiding the cattle call of cruise excursions. They have a generous cancellation policy, so we didn't...More

Booked independently. Saw whales "bubble net" feeding, a rare event where the whales work as a group to chase the fish to the surface to feed. The lead whale blows bubbles under the fish causing them to surface where other whales surround them in a...More

Captain Ben, Sami and Amber were awesome on this tour. We learned all about the humpbacks and how they have identified them. We were able to see many flukes as well as blows! Thank you for the experience!

We did the combo Tour of Whale watching and the Mildenhall Glacier. The weather was outstanding which helped! A whale obsessed crew comprising Brendan, Chris and Chriselle took us out at high speed (boy, can their boats shift!) to the best spots and sure enough,...More

We saw many whales. The boat captains talk with each other in locating the whales. Lots of great information about whales are provided. Did not know, the whales surface for about a minute and then go deep and stay under water for 10-15 minutes. So...More

We booked a whale watching trip while visiting Juneau on a cruise the first week in September. We had a beautiful day with fairly calm water, and saw several humpback whales. The boat was small enough that everyone could move around and get a spot...More

They had bottles of water and some snacks on our boat that they captain and naturalist were kind enough to bring along for us. The jet boat we were on probably only held about 20 people or so. It was nice!

We were out in a larger boat. The water was not rough, the area we toured was Not in the open ocean so motion sickness should not be a problem.
