We booked this trip at the suggestion of our travel agent, during our Holland America cruise in August 2016. One of the best experiences on our 7 day cruise. Our guide Kevin was attentive, knowledgable and lots of fun. The self-driven jeep tour was an adventure along old logging routes...hold on to your hats! The easy canoe paddle over a... More

We took a tour which included a tour of the totem poles then canoeing a lake with a woodland walk. Exceeded expectations. Our guide was a graduate doing summer work and he clearly had researched his topics and was a great enthusiastic guide. We were apprehensive as there were only 5 of us on a tour for 20. Need not... We did the Mendenhall Kayak and Salmon Bake with Devon. This was a brilliant trip enabling us to get much closer to the glacier than by any other option - but still a safe distance away. Devon took pictures for everyone on his phone and was then kind enough to email them through to us afterwards. A great afternoon trip.... More

We had a group of 6 people on a cruise ship excursion. We had a great time - and covered a lot of area. We saw many bald eagles, some seals and even saw a sea lion! It was a great trip and enjoyed our guide - he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and had great stories to tell.... More

Our small group of 4 LOVED the kayaking adventure on Mendenhall Glacier Lake! But this excursion is not for the faint of heart, it was quite taxing. Our tour guide, Rachel, was also amazing. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our many questions. You get to see and experience so much on this excursion. We... More

We had a great time during our glacier view sea kayaking trip! Our guide, Nicole, was very helpful getting us set up and offered a lot of interesting facts during our time on the water! She seemed quite knowledgeable about life in Juneau and was helpful recommending other activities to do during our stay. As a wildlife enthusiast, my favorite... More

9/14/16 My wife and I took the Mendenhal Glacier float trip on our Ruby Princess cruise. It was our first time rafting and it won't be our last. Our guide Morgan was simply fantastic, he made the trip fun and exciting as we shot the class 2 & 3 rapids that were enhanced by two weeks of rain prior to... More

On 8/30/16 my husband and I took a float/rafting trip at Mendenahl Glacier. It was so much fun! This was our first time rafting, and it was perfect. Definitely made us think about doing this again at home. We had a sunny, clear day for rafting, and had beautiful views of the glacier and our first glimpse of mini icebergs!... More

We had a nice time at the Liarsville camp and salmon bake. We came to Alaska on a Holland America cruise and booked this tour though the cruise line as a part of a "best of Skagway" activity. The salmon bake was EXCELLENT!!!!! Really good food. The set-up seemed a little more cartoonish than authentic, but it was very enjoyable.... More

On a recent Holland America cruise, I had the pleasure of sneaking away for a sublime canoe trip to the Mendenhall Glacier. It was an experience of pure bliss from the quiet of the lake to absorbing the otherworldly beauty of both the glacier and adjacent waterfall. Henry was our deft and quick-witted tour guide. Go with him if you... More
