We were on an Alaskan Cruise and, upon reading all of the 5 star reviews on Trip Advisor, opted to go the Misty Fjords. Everyone in our 20-member family was terribly disappointed and felt like it was a complete waste of our entire afternoon and...More

We took an air tour through the Misty Fjords National Monument. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and unlike anything we had seen anywhere else. Note that the weather changes significantly and rapidly as you travel through the fjords. It had stopped raining and started clearing...More

Only real way to see this area is from the air. Very beautiful scenery with lots of lakes and mountains. If you are lucky you can even see wildlife. I saw whales from the air and seals when we landed on the water. We were...More

Highly encourage a seaplane trip to see this wonderful monument. We traveled end of June and had wonderful weather! Booked independently with Seawind Aviation. A great company and great flight!

We had the perfect day for our trip and this plane ride is the best way to experience the vastness that is Alaska. Exciting and awe inspiring.

You will be speechless viewing the towering cliffs and waterfalls. This is a trip most never get to experience. See mountain goats, whales while taking in scenic vistas available only from the water or air.

Misty Fjords is beautiful. We were anchored there in the morning when we woke up. Calm, mirror-like water, mist on top of the mountains. We were on a small ship (40 passengers) and some people were able to kayak and... More

There is a way. Certain times during the season, outfitters from Ketchikan, Alaska offer "tourist for a day" pricing which is significantly lower than normal fares... keep your eyes on Ketchikan papers!!
