Great for kids

My kids love going. Beautiful scenery, wonderful employees. Great, affordable place for a family outing. If you're a tourist, it's a great place to take pictures.

The reindeer farm offers an excellent tour. Each guest is given a small container of food to give to the reindeer, who gather around and eager eat what is offered. They do a good job of keeping it fun for kids while also offering education to those interested on how reindeer are bred and their relation to caribou. It's a... More

I went to the Reindeer Farm for the Pumpkin Patch event they were hosting. I was very pleased with everything! I was there with my 8 month old and he was fascinated with all of the animals but mostly the hay in the pumpkin patch! (Haha) I was hesitant about going because I was worried about the crowd but it... More

The Reindeer Farm is a great place to spend time with visitors, young to old - actually, it's a great place to take older folks. The walking is minimal and you get up close and in the middle of the reindeer herd and feed them. Truly a unique event. Great for kids also but of course, for the very small,... More

I went to the Reindeer Farm and fell in love with Dolly. I was able to feed her a willow branch and then scratch her. Also fed the reindeer and see their elk herd. Didn't know there were Elk in Alaska. Fun trip and I'm glad I didn't pass it up!

This family owned farm, it is a great place to go. They make you feel right at home and they are very knowable. You can feed the reindeer, then visit their moose. They also offer horse back riding trips. I have been there several times and there is something new every time I go.

Our family (2 adults and 4 school age kids) visited as part of our Alaska vacation in August. This was our first stop on a long day of driving from Anchorage to Fairbanks (it is about an hour from Anchorage). The kids did not want to leave! With reindeer, elk bunnies and chickens to pet and feed ... would you... More

One of the most enjoyable animal tours I've ever been on. Not only did I learn about reindeer (and other antlered animals), but being able to feed them was a thrill. I highly recommend this to anyone, any age!

Wonderful staff made it so comfortable and welcoming to the kids. I had a 6, 12 & 13 year old and everyone of them enjoyed themselves. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of their questions! He told us more than we could every have imagined about reindeer!! The kids loved feeding the reindeer, getting to pet them... More

Chase was an excellent guide! We thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge and his patience with ridiculous questions at times...I am still debating on a reindeer purchase ;-) Thanks for the amazing time!
