Great place to check out if you only have a few minutes. The staff is very knowledgeable and there are some short trails to hike here. An awesome place to take children.

The history and information of the area is great. Several interactive stations let you explore the sights and sounds of the wilderness. Very clean and well taken care of.

A very comprehensive and relatively new visitor's center provides a lot of insight on the Kenai Peninsula. Plenty of outdoors trails and activities during all of the seasons. Activities and trails for all levels of experience, age, and activity.

The walking paths are very nice and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and facilities clean. The exhibition area was very small and not as educational as I would have liked.

Rained steadily as we climbed up 1400 feet to see the lakes. Trail easy to follow, but has some overgrowth over path. Great views once at lake.
