Fished her with my Dad 2 years in a row. Fishing was ok, a 50 pound salmon was my biggest fish but I caught it up-river and it was turning. I highly recommend a visit to Homer for the halibut fishing, Dad caught a 75 pound fish. I have heard that Tim has sold the business, this kind of place... More

You guys will just have to see how the new owners are. My guides are the best on the river. Our re bookings was up 100% since my wife and I took over. Please give us a try. Thanks for the review. More

We booked a 2 day charter back at the beginning of February. When we went on our trip in July we found that he had sold the business, not informed us, and were very unhappy with our trip. It was a boat ride. On our first day we did limit on rock fish and halibut, but got maybe 15 pounds... More

Jennifer I am very sorry about your trip. These captains are highly experienced and have been a part of this company for many years before I took over. Your bad day on the water had nothing to do with the experience and the new owners. Our re bookings are up 100% from last year. I would like to know who... More

Staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming from the time we walked in. The lodge was homey and comfortable. Rooms were above par. The food was to die for. We went for our honeymoon and next time we will consider bringing our children. They did everything except drive you around. We were sad to leave such a wonderful place and plan on... More

I cannot express enough how great the captain and crew have been on our charters with Tim Berg’s Alaskan Fishing Adventures. I have gone twice now on the Tia Rose with Captain Chris and have limited out on good size halibut and rock fish. On our most recent charter half the fishermen were tossing their breakfasts over the rails after... More

Went fishing on the Tia Rose for Halibut and Rock fish.Captain Chris and his crew were super friendly and very professional. We caught our limit of all targeted species plus some king salmon and pollack. The boat was exceptionally clean and all the fishing equipment was state of the art.I would highly recommend a trip with these folks, they really know... I Booked a week long fishing trip with 2 friends at the Trophy Lodge and was honestly the best vacation I have ever had. The drive from Anchorage to Kenai was unbelievably beautiful; the scenery was better than I had imagined. Sadie, the lodge guest, was very polite, helpful and very personable. She helped me catch my first salmon off... More

We had a big family trip to Alaska back in July 2015. We hired Tim Bergs Alaskan Fishing Adventures. We had an awesome time! The guys on the boat were so helpful & friendly. We caught a lot of fish. I definitely would recommend them over and over.

Let me start by saying that the ONLY reason we are giving this a ‘2’ rating, is because of the wonderful, caring, hard-working crew. Tim Berg's website brags about all kinds of BIG TROPHY fish caught from his charters. However, what it fails to mention is that the large fish are only possible on the overnight charters, where the boats... More

This is our first time fishing in Alaska and we were referred to Tim Bergs Alakskan Fishing Adventures. My wife and I have never fished like this but we love the outdoors. From the phone calls to Tim's amazing staff all the way to the fishing guides, we had nothing but excellent service. The guides, deck hands, Lodge staff, fish... More

This was a great sampling of Alaska fishing... we fished the ocean twice, the Upper Kenai River, the Lower Kenai River, and the Kasilof River. We caught several kinds of salmon, halibut, rockfish, and for the catch and release on the Upper Kenai, we caught Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden Trout. Saw lots of eagles as well on the river...
