Chinese people love to visit this European style street in Tianjin but every time I have been I have found the food very average and way too pricey. The architecture is quite cool to se though.

Firstly it's a misnomer , there's nothing remotely Italian about the place except for an Italian restaurant of which we had the unfortunate experience of lunching at . With a very basic 'Italian ' menu and the most unpalatable pasta ever ! The supposed aglio olio dish was swimming in oil, and it wasn't even olive oil ! There is... More

So there is nothing much here except a lot of restaurants. The Italian bit means a lot of red brick walls and Some fancy sculptures. Personally I don't see what is Italian about it but can imagine that its a nice place to come to choose some restaurants

Comprised of a few blocks. I suppose it is different / unique but somehow misplaced in China. There are many restaurants to choose from.

I have been here multiple times for vacation as I live in a nearby city. I always return here in the summer months. A beautiful walking street!

Whilst the Italian district logically consists of Italian-style buildings, it is in fact a multi cultural district comprising numerous Western restaurants, bars and shops including Italian, German and French origin. The district really comes alive at night (especially in the Summer) when a visit to the Italian district can be followed by a walk along the riverside or a short... More

Fun to be. Historic place with many Italian characteristics, pasta's and pizza's clothing, shoes, craftmanship. Actually it's more than a street. It doesn't get to be as cosy as some of the real Italian cities, but hey: they are many miles away....
