Whilst the Italian district logically consists of Italian-style buildings, it is in fact a multi cultural district comprising numerous Western restaurants, bars and shops including Italian, German and French origin. The district really comes alive at night (especially in the Summer) when a visit to the Italian district can be followed by a walk along the riverside or a short... More

Fun to be. Historic place with many Italian characteristics, pasta's and pizza's clothing, shoes, craftmanship. Actually it's more than a street. It doesn't get to be as cosy as some of the real Italian cities, but hey: they are many miles away....

As the name implies, mostly European food is served here. We ended having Pizzahut as there is a special halloween pizza being served here.

Tianjin has several European style places. This one is famous for beautiful architecture, restaurants, but too small area. It was expencive to eat pizza there, but delicious) we missed 'normal' food so were glad to find this place. Recommend!

I saw Italian town during the day and at night. The views at night are nice because many restaurants and areas are lit up. I watched a great live band here at Paulaner restaurant outside. I found a great authentic Thai restaurant as well which was delicious. Worth a visit for the food, beer, and atmosphere.

It was nice, typical European street in the middle of China. In Tianjin was a big deal to find an adequate place to eat, but there were several good restaurants (Italian and French) on this street.

This street or area is a must if you are in Tianjin. You can see the European style architecture and it feels like you are not in China at all. The street shops sell scarves and hats and refreshing drinks. You can also find western restaurants here. September is a good time as it is not cold yet so you... More

As there are plenty of European food choices here, I wonder why they name this Italian street. The food can be a little on the pricey side and almost similar to hotel prices the taste of food is pretty average too. Lots of live band playing at night too.
