The outside of the building will give you a good idea of what you are about to see, porcelain and lots of it. Broken pieces have been arranged into art that decorate the inside walls. There are also interesting antique furniture inside. We were very...More

Impressive exterior but interior is nothing much. They display many ancient Chinese cupboards inside. The exterior of the building seem to be fascinating but if you look closely you will find that the decorating porcelain aren't decorated exquisitely. The entrance fee is 50 RMB.

The outer and parts of the interior surfaces of the property are decorated in whole and broken or cut pieces of porcelain. They are colour coordinated. Unique and interesting use of broken pieces of porcelain (mainly plates and vases), and attractive to look at.

3 floors of artistic use of porcelain - well-maintained and unique. We took a cab for 350 yuan from the bullet train station to take us around places in Tianjin and this was one of it.

Such a odd house but worth a visit. I’ve never seen anything like it. I wish there was some history about it though. We might have missed the brochures but I don’t think there were any.

It’s a really fun place to look around, but probably won’t take you more than an hour. The inside has piles of antique wood furniture, but it seems more like storage than the furniture actually being displayed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It is made up of seemingly countless shards of pottery and porcelain, and reflects a tremendous amount of creativity in its design and execution. The inside is filled with antique furniture, including a dresser/mirror of the last empress...More
