Me and my friends found and booked our overnight tour through HALONG SAPA EXPERTS website agentt. The Fansipan overnight tour was so exiting and they included tour guide, porter, transfer, and all of things we needed before our trip. James picked up from our hotel in Hanoi and he was so kind and welcoming. The manager Ving in Sapa told... More

I walked it in 5 hrs and took the cable car down. I went with an individual guide which I hear is compulsory and I felt was necessary anyway. The terrain is very mixed and is bordering on rock climbing in places. It needs a very good level of fitness to do it in this amount of time. One thing... More

A trekking tour was booked via HALONG SAPA EXPERTS website agent was great. Our tour departs from Hanoi, they arranged nice train cabins, transfer, great tour guide, porters and local food during the trip was included and tasty as well. Night on mountain was memorable and we enjoyed our time !

If you get a clear day or just a little cloud, you should get up there! Great views and the cable car is very comfortable. It's quite a steep walk right to the top but worth every step!

it's amazing view of the top of the mountain which is higher than clouds, during the sapa city foggy all days and night; amazingly, it's clear sky and sunny on the Basecamp, 2800 meter above sea level, and yes, it's also clear sky on summit too .I DID THE TREKKING WITH 3hours walking to the first rests top and then... I used to go there by cable car view is great. But unfortunately construction again. A lot of construction is in Sapa right now. Maybe next year would be nicer. :)

Lots of people reviewed Fansipan Mountain but they went up by cable car. The ride is around 30USD and it takes only slightly more than 20mins each way. What was different for us is that we climbed our way up. We did not prepare for this climb and it is not recommended for people who don't come prepared because it... More

We took the cable car up, $27 and it was a very nice ride. No crowds or waiting. After 20 minute ride you exit and then have a good 15 minute climb up stairs to the summit. You are above the clouds and it is a truly wonderful view,,,,

Fansipan mountain is on our list to do in Sapa and it was a challenge but also an unforgettable adventure. I did it with my friend for a day so how it worked is that we started the hike at 5AM and reached the summit at 12mid day. I think we're good! Plus it was a sunny day so it... More

It was a cloudy and damp day in Sapa, but it was our last day. We hired a car and driver and went to take the cable car from Fansipan Legend to the top of Fansipan. As we drove up we ascended through the clouds for a beautiful day and fabulous views. The views from the cable car were even... More
