The only thing that is worshiped in Sapa is the all mighty dollar. This place has gone to the dogs. Hmong people in town are painfull. They exsploit there own children. Great views, the best part is the road out.

It is a working church, so you don't go inside. Quite impressive architecture, but nothing to go out of your way for. Nicely lit up. Could use a clean. We only really saw it because it was near the town square and night markets

To be fair, we didn't get inside.. but from the outside, there's nothing special about it. It is a colonial style building, and that's it.

Fine to walk past and take a photo....else.....do not go out your way. Lighting at night is spectacular.

We went to the church as we were in its vicinity. Colonial style building with average maintenance. When we visited it was open and we walked through it. Nothing much to add. If you are in the vicinity its worth a snap.

The church is only opened when masses are going on. We were here on a weekday afternoon so it was not opened. The exterior looks pretty.

Nice little church a bit neglected, did not live up to the description in the book. If you are in SAPA you will walk past it, look inside and carry on to the Botanical Garden around the corner.

Unless your religeous or in to architecture? Its not that attractive. We found that the outside could use a washing, since the stones are all blackend sort to say. At night it turns in to a bit of a disco with all the changing bright...More

As far as quaint old churches go this one is right out of the movies. On a misty day or night the church poking out of the mist reminds me of many a movie scene. The church itself is an example of the French influence...More

Not sure if for Sunday, but 6.30 pm on Saturday When I attended in November, ,we had a Brass Band supplying the music, and the congregation in full voice, it was a lovely experience. Mary
