It’s a nice open area, concrete surfaced with peripheral stairs, area for a stage and a large video screen, booming at night. Busy all day with local, tourists and vendors. Especially busy Friday and Saturday nights with roller blade skating and dancing and music. Busy...More

When we first arrived we thought the cultural dress was just for tourists but later realised these people have maintained their centuries old traditions. A feast for photographers.

There's an amphitheater built in front of the stone church which is remarkable for the town. The ambient is nice and you'll see a lot of local youths hangout at nighttime in the park. Very close to Sapa Market, good place to explore.

The Quang Truong square is the center of Sapa. Most streets start here, you have the Holy Rosary church nearby... but that's it. You'll find people trying to sell you tours or some souvenirs.

Before we came in Sa Pa we discovered Bac Ha ( from Si Ma Cai till Ta Cu Ty). In Sa Pa you only find shops, wellness houses and sellers in folk costumes. This is not real Vietnam. We will stay away.
