Quaint!!!!!!

I had a nice experience walking up and down the old town. No tourist season in February, it was great. Old. Colourful. Snowy. Quaint!

My visit to Sighisoara was not planned .. it was nearing dark and we wanted to find a hotel and dinner. What luck! The garrisoned town on the hill is a gem! From the interesting small streets, to the enormous clock tower - with tremendous 360 degrees views, to the covered hillside staircase leading to one of the numerous churches,... More

The historic center is really interesting although it is small. It has cool old structures like rock walls and gates, also a clock tower and some old buildings. It is perfect to walk around and transport yourself a few hundred years in the past, to have a small glimpse of what I looked like in those times. Some buildings could... More

Worth the trip to this region of Central Romania. This was our first time to Sighisoara. The history, people and food are wonderful. You will not be disappointed. We stayed at the Central Park Hotel....very nice.

Lovely little town well worth a visit! Lots of buildings and architecture to admire. A lovely scenic route here would be via Voila through a village called Dealu Fromusa which is Beautiful!

To us there is no better time of year to visit Romania. All the tourist places are so quite, no hordes clamouring over everything. No queues, or constant photo bombing. We feel we have had this beautiful citadel all to our selves. Cold, and wonderfully sunny days. If you cant walk down a cobbled street and find a medieval tower... More

Beautiful, clean, different. Yes, it's a nice old town, colorful town I could say, with shops, great buildings, restaurants - some of which might be pretty expensive so take care, but it's nice to explore such streets full of color and history.

This is one of the best preserved pieces of Romanian history, it is definitely a very good idea to visit.

It was a cold, but sunny day, great for wandering all the streets and exploring the delights of this old town. Did struggle to find parking at first so think we ended up on the high street but was only a few minutes walk away
