We always go to Iztuzu beach once or twice during our holiday. Didn't visit the turtle sanctuary this time as it was so busy. Pleasant place, cheap sun beds, small bar to get snacks and drinks. We always take a little picnic with plenty of...More

We visited this beach several times during our two week stay in Dalyan. An important breading ground for the loggerhead turtle this beach is highly protected and as such is closed during hours of darkness. The beach is 4.5km from end to end with not...More

Lovely beach. Very soft sand. Sea shallow which is ideal for children. Good facilities with cafe, changing rooms and toilets. Visited turtle hospital whilst there too. Definately worth a visit.

Another place we try to visit each time we come to Turkey. Take note, though, that the beach closes from 20:00-08:00 due to it being a nesting area for sea turtles. On our first visit, we were most of the way down the 4.5km beach...More

Drove to the Turtle sanctuary end of the beach. Beautiful views, little cafe to buy snacks and drinks. Not many wasps about, last few years there have been hundreds in September. so peaceful lovely place to visit.

Unspoilt, take the river dolmus from Dalyan then walk to the middle of the beach to avoid the crowds.

As far as I know the rescue centre is in operation all year round. Sadly turtles always get injured. It is donation based. I'm not sure about tours.

Hi, the water taxis are near the statue of Ataturk, near the mosque. There is usually a sign on the walkway and a guy there from the 'co-operative'; directing people to the correct boat.
