Conchas beach is my favorite beach in Cabo Frio, with shallow water is the best one in the city for snorkeling and stand up paddling!

The beach is small and the waves aren't braves. The sea looks like a swimming pool, calm and very clear(perfect for small kids). The only negative point is that the beach can be very crowded as it is very smal, otherwise it is perfect to visit, but remember to arrive early. There are several restaurants in front of the sea,... Mild waves for smaller kids, excellent food cooked on the beach for you along with drinks. You can walk along the beach to another larger beach nearby, or walk to the right and collect shells at the point. Beautiful beach

This beach is very beatiful, sea water is blue, not deep at your first steps waht make this place suitable for kids play. The price os food is good for extragers, mainly if you came from euro or dólar currency country. At sunny weekends or holidays the things become worse, because many people came to fun time, and make that... More

I really need to go back to this beach. The water is very very tranquil and and super clear. Apparently the water is also extremely salty which is why I was able to float so easily. Definitely worth the visit!

A lonely (in the off season), windy, expanse of soft white sand, Suoeste is a piece of paradise. We have seen turtles, golfinhos or dolphins, penguins (unfortunately once we found a dead one covered with black oil), and of course, crabs and different birds. At the very end towards Pontal, the fishermen bring in the boats rolling them on tree... More

Before we went to this beach, we´ve been told it´s full of conchas, but when we got there we saw garbage instead of the conchas. The only good thing was that we were their alone, so we had the beach for ourselfs. but it was on week day and not in the season, so i really don´t know whats going... More

Beautiful waters and white sands. Conchas is well away from the town but worth going to. Of all the beaches in the area of Cabo Frio, Araial do Cabo and Pero, Conchas is my favorite. Water is chilly but you will not notice the temp after swimming for a bit. Conchas is a smaller beach and many people do visit.... More

This is a wonderful beach, if you think to swim, this is a perfect beach. Absolutely clean and unpoluted water. It is located in a reserve and can be reached by car. There are also small restaurants where you can have delicious sea food.

Praia Conchas is a protected bay, so great for kids and anyone who does not want to fight the ocean waves. The water is chilly but refreshing. You can hike up the hill and get great views of the coastline. There is some decent snorkeling at the point. Lots of restaurants which will serve you on the beach. During peak... More
