They always like to take our visitor,s to this local history retreat. It is very well tended and looked after by local people who give their time and care to keep it a local gem. Free entry ,but donation,s are very deserved and welcome.

Loved the grounds, the well laid out buildings and the friendly volunteers. The displays of 1850-1920 life were particularly outstanding.

Silverdale Pioneer Village is run by volunteers, so the best time to go is on an "open day". Various "live" demonstrations are available. History of Silverdale and the surrounding area is fascinating.
