I've chosen Coral Garden excursion, swimming with sharks and rays. After a lot of thinking I decided to risk it. I had been swimming with sting rays twice in the past and the second time I was pushed very powerfully by one of them and...More

While the coral garden is beautiful it’s not the best on the island. In my opinion I enjoyed the hard coral formation closer to the reef barrier out past intercontinental le moana. The coral was not vibrant like I had hoped for. The fish were...More

This area is toward the south side, just behind the outer reef that rings the island. The surf pushes a steady flow of water over the coral, so there is a light current that carries you around. There are beautiful coral of every kind everywhere....More

took this cruise from Oceania tour and it was great. Lots of fish to see and a pleasant crew. Shallow waters and safety was explained.

We stopped for a snorkel and it was fabulous. You can also reach the gardens by boat from the Sofitel also. I believe they charge $95 per day to go to their island on the Coral Gardens.

The water was clear and the coral was nice. There were hundreds of fish, all different types. If you take bread, you can feed them and they will swarm around you. I visited the coral gardens twice. Once from Sofitel Resort private island. I got...More

Despite of the bad weather today we were able to visit the Coral Gardens. It's a must see when you come visit Bora Bora. Most tours offered in Bora Bora goes to the Coral Gardens.

The gardens were impressive and just before that we swam with the sharks. Cannot beat that. The coral was colorful and it was easy to snorkel in the reef. Get a tour that includes the sharks, coral gardens, and a beach barbecue.
