The video is worth the trip showing what it takes to keep dogs in peak performance, healthy and happy. Those dogs sure love to run! They have a very good gift shop too.

A host of experiences. Gift shop, statues, displays, hands-on puppies, and a sled dog experience. Much information can be learned here.

I enjoyed the dogsled opportunity, altough for ten dollars ($10.00), it was pricey. The dogs were smart and cute, and I held a Siberian puppy. The staff was polite and took my pictures with the dogs. In the summer, the dogs pull you in a...More

Our large tour group of 23 enjoyed the Iditarod HQ. The gift shop was nice, we had a great time petting the puppies, and many of us went on the sled dog cart ride. It is $10 per person -a little pricey- and is a...More

Besides learning about the history of the Iditarod Trail and about the beautiful dogs, we took a ride around the property mushing for only $10 a person. Now I know the meaning of the word Iditarod (Distant Place). The 1049 mile trail was a lifeline...More
