This tour is great for two reasons: First, you get to see first hand a true piece of American history in one of the most productive mines in the US. Second, and more importantly, the tour guides are all coal miners from 40 years ago, taking you back and giving an oral history of what it was like to be... More

Not for the faint of heart. This mine has a kind of train you ride by straddling the cart and it is pulled underground by a engine driven by the tour guide. It's dark, wet, and has some closed in spaces and some stairs. They provide you with a waterproof jacket (wear something warm underneath even in the summer) and... More

This is a place that you don't want to miss, if you like going underground. Just the rail ride is worth the price. When you arrive, you see the structure of the old Queen Mine. Go through the doors and you enter back in time to what the miners would be doing. Getting your rain coat, your hard hat and... More

This is a tour of what was once a functioning mine. It is not a disney fake. Our tour guide actually worked in the mine many years ago. It was very interesting riding a mine train and traveling deep into the mine to see what a real miner would have experienced. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour makes it possible for you to comprehend the life of the miners and to realize the valuable work they performed. It was very informative and the old guide knew very well after more than 20 years as a miner how life had been down there.

It was really interesting going down into the mine. Seeing what it was like for the men and mules that worked in there. I've never been into history stuff but I found this very interesting. My son thought it was cool also.

We have done this tour three times, and always bring out-of-town visitors here to experience the underground adventure. The history of this mine is well presented in displays and by the friendly tour guides. Many of the guides actually worked in this mine when it was active. Ride the little train cars deep into the mountain and see the tools... More

One of the highlights on a visit to Bisbee is the Queen Mine Tour. It is a well-organized and educational experience for any one 5 or older. With a work helmet and light your travel inside the mine to learn about hard-rock mining from an era gone by. Excellent tour guides. Both my grandsons (12 & 8) loved it. Located... More

Wanted to try and mine tour to see what it was all about. Being not familiar with copper mining this was a nice experience. The main station for buying tickets was fairly large and well kept, They had numerous rocks, jewelry and other souvenirs for sale. Small exhibit of things of cooper mining. Ok place to kill time for the... More
