Had high hopes...the entire experience was negatively impacted by one of the employees, a woman who was involved with the tour prep, handing out lights, etc, to say this women was rude and overly unpleasant would be kind statement. Obviously this was disappointing and had...More

The tour took a little over an hour and was presented in a professional, albeit sometimes comical way. Our guide had first hand knowledge of the workings of the mine and patiently answered everyone's questions as he explained how the copper and other minerals were...More

This is a must-do tour if you're visiting Bisbee. You'll learn about the mining town from a former miner, and get to travel into the mine in little cars on a track. Cool.

The mine tour was very informative, hearing about the work from someone who was down there for a number of years was really interesting. You can really appreciate what a hard environment it is. Because of the acoustics, the guide's way of speech, and number...More

No need for old clothes or shoes, you don't get dirty. Bring a sweatshirt as it's cold in the mines. Make sure you have a reservation, too. Enjoy!

I wouldn't recommend this tour for anyone who is unsure on their feet. The floors are uneven, with loose stoned and rock. There are some steps to climb and descend. It would not be safe or comfortable

we were there midweek, in april, and could make reservations for about 90 minutes later. all tours were full, so I'd say its best to make a booking, particularly if its high season.
