Arts and crafts, used books, wine tasting rooms, olive oils, designer-produced clothing, antiques - a lot is packed into this town's compact shopping area. Restaurants, taverns, and cafes offer varied menus (love the Red Rooster,) so you can pause along the way. As you are strolling through town, notice the law offices located in a wonderfully converted mid-century motor inn.... More

We stopped here on our way back from Jerome. What a quaint little town. They have small shops and restaurants and saloons with happy hour. Parking was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our few hours in this town.

What a fun cute town !! Loads of great places to eat and drink in a very small area. Shops are fun too ! Wine tasting rooms very nice .......and if you have too much fun, the Tavern Hotel or Iron Horse are right on the main drag----both great places

Old town Cottonwood is a charming town. We had fun walking up one side and down the other. We looked in all the shops. Nice variety of local artisans. Lots of great restaurants. A fun day all in all.

This little town has so much history and the people were very friendly and eager to tell the history of the town.

Cottonwood has five wineries that offer wine sampling to full course meals. Most can ship the wine as long as you have it shipped to Arizona, no outside state sales. A lot of places to shop for art and jewelry, and everyplace we went to the staff was so friendly. Plan on a few hours to walk and look, and... More

Numerous small businesses, very few chain stores and restaurants. We ate at a Thai restaurant that was excellent.

If you like the historic downtown atmosphere you need to drive out to old downtown. Amazing food and great shops. The town made a good investment adding more public parking and "modernizing" downtown. There's shops, food, wine tasting, music etc. All around good place.
