What! This places is a blast!
Aug 2019
We just kinda pulled in not knowing what to expect. If it weren't for the desert heat and other plans on the agenda for the day, I'd have spent a couple more hours. So many interesting animal encounters. Bird feeding was my favorite. Would love to repeat.

Fun Time with Ostriches
Mar 2020
We visited last month when visiting friends in AZ. A fun time feeding the different animals. They have deer, rabbits, lorikeets (like parakeets but larger)and stringrays. They give you coins and different feed for the animals. We really liked the lorikeets they give you some nectar and they will take the top off the container with their beaks and sit on your shoulders and arms. Really cute! The stingrays were neat to touch and feed. A great place to take kids and adults too!

Fun times with the grand-kids
Jan 2020
Our 3-year-old granddaughters absolutely loved our day at Rooster Cogburn's. They got to feed several animals, but the highlight was being "kissed" by the Boer Goats of the "Hole In The Wall Gang".

Deer, Stingrays, Sheep, Rabbits & Ostrich
Oct 2018 • Family
Admission includes a tumbler of Pellets to feed deer, donkeys, sheep & ostrich. You also get coins for the food dispensers for rabbit & ducks. The ostrich do bite so be sure to use the feeders instead of your hands.

My teens favorite animals are the Lorikeets. You enter their enclosure & hold out your cup of nectar. They land on you, they pry open the lids with their beaks & have at it. Meanwhile you get some cool photo ops with birds landing on you. These birds also are attracted to shiny things, like eye glasses, jewelry & camera lenses. I recommend removing any bracelets or earrings before entering their enclosure.

Worth the trip there is allot more there than you would think. It was enjoyable and I bring family there every time they visit. Great way to kill a few hours and the price is reasonable for what they offer

Four adults and we had a terrific time. All the animals seemed to be well taken care of. It was lots of fun feeding the different animals and birds. Small stingrays too! Everyone was very friendly and professional. We will definitely come back to feed everyone again!

We are 2 middle aged animal lovers visiting the Phoenix area and after reading the trip advisor reviews we thought we would take a chance on this place. For a reasonable admission fee you get a good sized cup of food to feed goats, deer, ostriches and donkeys as well as food for parakeets, lorakeets and rabbits. The animals are well kept and fun to feed and it's really a cool way to spend an hour or so. Kids would really love this place!

From feeding and petting deer, goats, birds and many other animals, there are stingray to pet. Go when it opens because it gets hot quickly.
