Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a fun date night! We had a great time at both establishments. Happy hour at Whiskey Row is really good. The music at The Porch is epic. Have fun.

From the days of the Liberty Cafe and Joes- downtown Gilbert has amassed a number of new and trendy bars and restaurants - it even has its own speakeasy now👍🏻Something for everyone down here so don’t miss it if you are in town...

I remover only a few years ago when this place was nothing but the liberty cafe and joes barbecue
Look at it now it’s a fantastic spot, tons of good eateries, joyride taco, barrio queen, whisky row, and OHSO to name a few, this place has just passed downtown chandler by leaps and bounds

I cannot believe how much Gilbert has changed the past few years. There are so many new restaurants and fun things to do now. I look forward to it expanding even more. If a developer is reading this, we need some more nightlife here. If you build it, we will come. Check out the line wrapped around Dierk's if you don't believe me.

Quaint area, I really enjoyed my walk and eating Chicken and Waffles. I can see this to be a very popular destination area for shoppers and eaters.

We moved to Gilbert in 1995. The Dairy Queen was the only restaurant that we noticed. 24 years have seen this downtown transformed into many fine restaurants and family friendly venues. We can thank local businessman Joe Johnston who plowed his profits into revitalizing Gilbert road and opening Joe’s BBQ and Liberty Market—2 of the many dining options

Where is the Mesa outdoor market

Mesa is a large city, 3rd largest in AZ and 36th in the nation. So there are several swap-meet outdoor markets. I would suggest you look up online some choices... and visit the info on TripAdvisor. Gilbert is a separate town but shares borders with parts of Mesa.

The only one in Gilbert with which I am very familiar is called Trilogy at Power Ranch. It is located west of Power and south of Germann. If you are not a local resident I will hereby inform you that Germann is pronounced as if there were an i after the a and an e at the end. This is a 15 or 20 minute drive southeast of downtown Gilbert.
