This is a large greenspace next to Glendale Community College. It has a dog park, lots of playground space and picnic tables. Not a tourist destination in any way.

Nice park, lots of stuff to see and do, the historical buildings are interesting. Nice playground for kids. Dog park is good. But the park has been very dirty lately, Trash on the grounds.

This was the house our there. The house is from long ago. One would have to check when the house is opened to the public. The furniture and the things used in it's day are all still in tack. We were amazed to see all the things used out here in Arizona but this was a ranch that did not... More

This was worth it he visit. Beautiful park setting. Enjoyed seeing all the different types of plants, flowers and fruit trees. The kids loved the peacocks. Very nice place to hang out,

Learn how palm trees came to Az. Learn about the beginning of Glendale. See old tractors or come for the quilt or art exhibition. House tour is great. During the fall, there is a Western theme festival with actors and audience participation. Frankly it had other attributes a few yrs ago. Peacocks were highlights of a visit until locals complained... More

Been there many, many times. Beautiful rose garden, interesting structures, lots of varied free functions. Adjacent to local park with great play grounds for kids, volleyball courts and orchards

Two friends hosted weddings here, super inexpensive and a great view. The scenery and sounds are worth a drive even for the park area for little kids.

I went as a solo traveller on a Saturday. The property was fairly deserted and even though there was a sign stating "wait here for tours", no tour guide ever showed up. I waited around, along with another woman and her daughter, but after 30 minutes we all gave up. There were several interesting period buildings with decent signage but... More

Only limited structures are open and available to view each day. Photography is forbidden. Not convenient if a visitor cannot come back time and again to catch buildings open for viewing.

As an officiant, I get to see a variety of wedding venues. The Saguaro Ranch Park (rose garden) is a lovely setting for a small wedding. The Bride and Groom Rooms are in a lovely historical house that is just a small bridge walk to the rose garden. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The reception area is also... More
