Great skiing this past weekend!

The snow and skiing this past weekend was great! Fresh snow on Sat. and Sun. They probably got at least 12" of fresh powder by Sun. night. The only negative is the price of the... read more

My husband went to Sunrise and all I can say is so much potential but they very little to capitalize on it. The chairlifts have no bars and are so slow on Cyclone that I was on the lift for 30 minutes. Come on Sunrise, UPGRADE and be the best mountain in AZ!!!

Not a lot of choices for skiing in Arizona, but this is a great choice! Lots of runs, fast lifts, no lines, and a nice bar to get a beer after a day of skiing. Rented skis, service was a little slow, but ok. Warmed up quickly, so by noon slopes were slow, so ended the day. early.

The snow and skiing this past weekend was great! Fresh snow on Sat. and Sun. They probably got at least 12" of fresh powder by Sun. night. The only negative is the price of the "Lift Tickets". $68.00 for adults. They keep going up, and they charge more on the Holiday Weekends when they know it will be packed. If... More

We travelled from Phoenix. three and a half hours, to Pinetop. The skiing was easily the best in Arizona and there are no lines! We only skied the blues and greens, but had a great time! Strongly recommended!

Sunrise has a new tubing hill experience that we thought sounded like fun since we didn't have our own sleds or tubes. They rent the tubes and have a tow line to pull you up the hill so you don't have to trudge back up after sledding down. Great idea! The problem is it is very poorly run and too... More

This was our first time at this ski park. It was really good! The lodge has really good food, but if you want the best breakfast burrito ever go to the little shack by the ski lift window. Seriously worth it!

lots of lifts and multiple mountains that spreads the crowds and keeps the lines at a minimum. Food at mountain midways and top are great. Not the Colorado or Utah rockies but a great family ski area close to Phoenix and Tucson.

We moved to Scottsdale from Colorado. My wife is a not-quite Colorado native and strong skier. I was a ski instructor and racer. While Sunrise Park isn't going to challenge Vail for anything, we were happily surprised to find an uncrowded ski area with many interesting runs and surprisingly good snow. As is true anywhere, but especially in warm Arizona,... More

I used to go to Snow Bowl is Flagstaff all the time but stopped going there once I tried Sunrise. Snow Bowl is good for beginners or family with little kids because it's basically bunny slopes. Another thing About Snow Bowl is that you have to drive up the mountain & some times they will not allow vehicles up without... More
