My wife and I spent her birthday with Andrea at their wonderfully eclectic home in Jerome. The accommodations were cozy and warm with a plethora of local history and charm. She and her sister were a delight to share stories and learn about the area. The amazing transformation of the home from her purchase in 1992 to today is wonderfully chronicled in self-made books she has displayed...amongst the other 100s of books throughout the house. The gardens, even in winter, were a sight. The view from the Master Suite is gorgeous as it overlooks the city with the red rocks of Sedona and Humphrey's Peak in the backdrop. Breakfast was fantastic. The variety was great and the detail of which she prepared her dishes was incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

My husband and I spent a night at the Surgeon's House. It was our first trip to Jerome and we enjoyed it very much. Check in time is 4:00 and don't get there early unless you make arrangements. We stayed in the Master Suite and I felt that was the best room. It had a balcony with an incredible view and the room was large and roomy. Our host Andrea has been there 25 years and is a wealth of knowledge about Jerome and the history of the house. She has a TON of stuff to see in the house---antiques, pictures, knick-knacks. This year is the 100th anniversary of the house so she worked with a researcher to put several books of house history together. Really interesting! Her breakfast was more like a brunch buffet--fish, risotto, eggs, biscuits, yogurt on granola---and so many homemade toppings for everything. Plus homemade juices and the normal teas and coffee. Fabulous! The electricity went off in Jerome for a few hours but no worries--she had battery lanterns in the room. She really thought of everything. (No TVs in room but I'm sure that's on purpose) As amazing as everything in the house was, there is no comparison to her yard. Koi ponds, hammocks, flowers, bushes, bamboo, apple trees, grape vines. It was like visiting the botanical gardens! Very beautiful and relaxing. Would have loved to stay longer.

Andrea is an amazing person. She understands customer service like no other. From the minute you enter to the minute you leave, you feel enveloped in love and appreciation. How many hotels or b and b's do THAT? Her home is amazing. My daughter wants her senior pictures in Andrea's gardens. It is so worth every cent you spend.

My fiance and i stayed for my birthday and i couldn't have had a more amazing time. Andrea made sure every need was met and that we felt at home. The gardens are something out of a fairy-tale and the views from a post card. Andrea's home made breakfast wasn't just breakfast!!! It was as if she knew what your personal favorites were!! Andrea felt like family the moment you meet her and she truly goes out of her way to make you feel like the most important person in Jerome!!! We will absolutely be staying with Andrea again!!!!
