All reviews lovely beach central beach clean beach blue flag strong currents beacon isle garden route low tide white sand indian ocean keurbooms river whale watching great walk sandy beaches an incredible experience see whales couple of hours
But really. What disappointing restaurants and bars around. So yes, pretty sand and sea but the sun goes and then what is left . No cool pretty bars and restaurants on the beach, which seemed strange to us.
Clean blue flag beaches. Choice of 3, Lookout with medium size waves, Central with small waves and the 4km Robberg with nice waves but make sure to swim in the lifegaurd controlled areas. Great for long walks at low tide. Toilet amaenities all kept clean.
The beaches here around the bay are world class with the softest sand and beautiful big, breaking surf.
The nice thing about Plett is the absence of big hotels and complexes next to the water unlike other beach towns which adds to the magic.
Stunning!! Make sure you take time to watch the Dolphins and enjoy the beach. We rented a Kayak too and there was no wind, the water was so still and there was no one else out there on the water. Memorable day.
Plett beach is known round the world but I was surprised at how soft the sand is. The city has done very well to ensure that there is no commercial operations such as cafes and restaurants on the beach, pure nature
