The storms river bridge is beautiful and well constructed, the scene of natural beauty is visible when standing on the bridge, baboons are plenty around the surrounding bush, there is a one stop service station for petrol and all amenities like restaurants, shop and bath rooms.

The walk is easy to moderate. It is an hour long return trip. The scenery at the bridge is beautiful. The bridge itself is secure you feel safe when you on it. This is a must do , when you visiting the Tsitsikamma Park. Lots of picture opportunities. Lots of views on the hike to the bridge.

The walk/hike in to the bridge area was really pretty. Not too strenuous but a decent workout. The bridges are not high above the water, so you can see the rough waves crashing up close. There's also really nice looking cottages there - wish we had time to stay there a night or two!

An amazing coastline and this place has many walks apparently. We just went to the suspension bridge. There were a lot of steps some quite steep so it felt longer than the distance claimed. On a nice sunny day it was worth it though. If you go at the weekend as we did be prepared to park on the side... More

As we headed toward the trail, we discovered a bunch of dassies near the onsite restaurant. They were in the grass, and one was on top of a bench. So cute. They are also known as the rock hydrax, and are somehow in the elephant family. We continued onto the trail, going up and down steps through the forest. We... More

My opinion this is probably the most stunnning hike in the entire country. Have done it 1000 times and keep going back.

Entry to the park cost us R90.00 (2 adults). After a brief drive (tarred road), we reached the Storms River restaurant from whence we began a 1km "magical walk" to the main suspension bridge with it's amazing views of the Storms River gorge! Views out to sea along the way are awesome! Walking through the forest is an absolute delight.The... More

First, it is a 4km walk - very hilly - to get to the bridge (actually there are three bridges). But once you're there, it's so worth it. You can wander back and forth across these bridges to your heart's content, and savor the spectacular views. Not to be missed!

The walk from the Storms River restaurant leads one along a boardwalk through cool indigenous coastal forest with occasional glimpses of the rugged Tsitsikamma coastline to the mouth of the Storms River. From the suspension bridge there are magnificent views of the deep gorge the Storms River has carved on its way to the ocean

We had a lovely walk to the bridge and back. Walking is comfortable as it's on a boardwalk - it is a couple of kilometers, but you don't have to rush it (in fact, don't rush it as you'll miss so much). The surrounding flora is interesting and the views are spectacular. If you are worried about heights, you don't... More
