After doing another of the walks at Storms River before lunch, I volunteered our group to do the walk to the suspension bridges, which I had remembered as being easier than they were! Lovely bridges and scenic views when you get there.

I really thought it was going to be an easy walk but it wasn't. I suggest that if you are unfit not to do this. I somehow managed and it was well worth the aching muscles in the end. The views from the top and from the suspension bridge itself were breathtakingly beautiful. Please give it a try it is... More

Breathtaking views give you an exhilarating experience at Tsitsikamma National Park. From the beautiful untouched beaches to the world famous Otter trail and Suspension Mouth river trail, one cannot ask for a better experience. With the bad maintenance and old facilities Tsitsikamma still rates itself high, and it's not hard to see why. This place should be on your list... More

This is a great location to spend the day. The suspension bridge walk is an easy one however does have many steps. The view and bridge are worth the walk

We took a drive from knysna and yes it was worth it. Sunny day but very windy. Around 1 km from parking spot to the bridge . Very nice views from the bridge . A nice attraction

So glad we walked out to these bridges with stunning scenery at every turn. Encountered several Rock Hyrax / Dassie. Hard to imagine they're related to the elephant!

We had a family vacation through the garden to Cape Town and one of our stops was here for lunch. It nearly didn't happen and I am so glad it did. As one ones view gets elevated through climbing the stairs to get the bridge the gorgeous the view gets. Contrast of the wilderness and the ocean The view once... More

The walk to the bridge and the look out point on top is worth the effort. Stunning views of the Storms River mounth and coastline. When in the area a visit is highly recommended. Not to be missed

About a 1km walk to the bridge on a really nice path/boardwalk. Clear signage along the way and lots of little benches to rest on or enjoy the breathtaking views.

I would say that storms river and the forest walk getting there is the jewel of Tsitsikamma reserve and can't for any reason be missed. It's a SAN Park destination, very well run and managed. It costs R48 pp (South Africans) and R98 pp for tourists. There is parking available at the bottom and the walk although challenging at stages... More
