We visited this National Park when our four kids were very small and we were driving the coast from KZN to Cape Town. It was mangificent then, it's magnificent now. I couldn't navigate the bridge and supervise the childrne on my own that time( - Dad was resting) but this time we both made it. The precarious structure of 1999... More

Beautiful walk and views and lots of dassies to be seen on the way. For suspension bridges they are very stable and don't sway around much at all. There are quite a lot of steps to climb to get there and back.

Really enjoyed this popular destination. Even though it was the weekend and a lovely sunny day, it wasn't too busy. Great walk along the boardwalk to the suspension bridge - amazing views and well worth the effort. Recommend for all those who enjoy a walk. Nice area along the beach and a nice little shop for water and souvenirs, just... More

Most of the local guide leaflets refer to the Viewpoint beyond the Suspension Bridge as part of the hike. However, be warned that should you attempt this, it is NOT for the faint hearted. There is a small sign at the start of the climb saying 385 +++ steps and 45 minutes! It's all of that. At least 200m above... More

If possible, I would advise to come early here, before the big crowd. We visited the mouth of the Storms Rivier in the beginning of November, which is not a holiday period in South Africa. Nevertheless there where lots of tourists seeking their way down the irregular stairs of the path. So I wonder how many people comes here in... More

This is such a beautiful part of our country. I couldn't believe my eyes when we visited. I love the various walking routes you could take and all the little dassies playing on the rocks were so cute! FYI, I didn't know this... the bridge is covered in locks with people's names on. Take a lock, a wish (and/or your... More

A real "must see"! There is a marked track to get to the suspension bridges. Both the walk back and forth as well as the bridges are really something that you shouldn't miss.

We went down to the suspension bridge for a nice walk. The views were stunning from both the walk to/ from the bridges as well as the bridges themselves. Well worth a visit if you have a bit of free time.
