What an absolute delight. Well kept, great serene atmosphere. Kids love it. Nice playing area at the tea garden, which is very well priced.

It is tranquil with loads of animals around. Many pets to see, and great outdoor area. The food at the tea garden is great it is just a pity that it only opens at 09:00 while the rest of the place is open earlier.

A very tranquil little zoo. Alpacas and Pelicans being the main attraction. Restaurant serves good food in a pleasant setting. A lovely little haven from the hustle and bustle of the most densely populated area in Gauteng.

We often take photos there with our granddaughters. We love to eat while watching them play. They would just come have a bite a drink of cold drink and then off to play again. The animals are such a treat, There is this cute little parrot that sticks it foot out through the wire so it can grab on to... More

What an surprise. I cannot believe there is no entrance fee to this well kept grounds and sanctuary. My son and I had a light lunch and bought a bag of food for R10 at the restuarant to feed the sheep and other animals. So many different birds and some tortoises roaming around the yard. Best prices in the Petshops... More

Real gem tucked away in the heart of Boksburg and a must see for anyone in the area. Entrance to the park is free and there is such a wide variety of bird life present at the park, from parrots and flamingo's to owls and ostriches The variety is really on par to that found at the montecasino bird gardens.... Has a big variety of pets at the pet shop. The Garden with the birds and animals are beautiful and clean. The kids enjoyed the play area, while mummy and daddy enjoy the tea garden.

Took my girls there yesterday. The sheer variety of birds is staggering. White peacocks, giant pelicans, macaws, ducks, owls, ostriches, emus, chickens, swans, kookaburras, African greys. It was spectacular. And to top it off the girls loved the play area and had the hugest bowl of ice-cream ever!

Petmaster has a great selection of things for all kinds of pets, ranging from toys to food and even has a selection of pets waiting for new homes. The bird park and tea garden, is great for a small outing with the family.
