We stayed at the Peech Hotel (see separate review), which is a very pleasant and popular tourist hotel. We asked about someplace near-by that we could safely walk and maybe see some birds (since there are a lot on the grounds of the Peech Hotel)....More

This is a nice, small, neighbourhood park in a leafy suburb of Northern Johannesburg. Great for a picnic or perhaps to walk the dog.

A park for picnic and not crowded. Facilities not adequate (toilets and water supply). Lovely for walking dogs. Also equipped with children's playground spots.

This is one of central Johannesburg's lovely parks worth visiting. Beautiful views, wonderful undulating walking paths and even has security.

It is a nice park for kicking a ball, or having a picnic. The lower part near Acrobranch has no security or play equipment, but across the stream on the higher ground there is decent parking, a tiny and good playground for very young kids...More

Beautiful park. Not well maintained. There is a man made stream running through the park which flows down over rocks into a pond. It no longer works which is unfortuneate.
