Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took my girls to visit Miniland. In a tertible condition. The little train is no longer, the ship is gone. There is no shop to buy anything. My parents took us there when we where kids and we had fun there. . But truly don't waste petrol or your time. The place is falling apart

I cannot believe this is listed as an attraction never mind that there is a fee for this attraction. It's a joke. The miniatures are all falling apart - they have not been maintained in 20 years, nor have any new miniatures been added in 20 years. The venue is dirty and the bathrooms left a lot to be desired.

Will never go again

This place has gone to the dogs, all the exhibits are weathered and look terrible, signs are pealing and none of the exhibits' controls work anymore, no more ferry rides or miniature train rides. Carpets on mini golf course are torn and ripped. No water in ponds only weeds and gunk. Cleaners sleeping on the grass and drinking. No receipt received after paying R25 per person, that money went straight to his back pocket. I am disgusted at the place and can't believe it is being promoted as a tourist attraction on tour bus-routes. This place is supposed to do fundraising in aid of tuberculosis, how do they expect to do that if there is nothing for paying for to see. If I wanted to see a rundown place I'd go to Hillbrow for free. Disgusting

The place is dilapidated, dirty, broken, stripped down or stolen. Everything from the buildings to cars or the figures all need a lot of attention. Newer buildings of New South Africa need to be built. The mini train also out of order I guess just Jan Van Riebeeck stood the test of time !

This place no longer exists, yet you can walk right inside. No staff, no entrance fee, no attractions. Two relics remain - giants Jan van Riebeeck out on the street and Michael Jackson wearing a thong. Atmosphere much like the opening scene of a horror film. The vintage King Kong lurking in the entrance hall is cool, not sure why it hasn’t been stolen!
