We are just returning from an excellent customized safari trip with Mmilo Tours and cannot recommend this company enough!
We initially contacted Mmilo during the early stages of our trip planning, thinking that we just wanted an airport transfer to Kruger that would take us along the Panorama Route. Patrick responded right away by phone with great suggestions to help us put a full itinerary together to maximize our time in South Africa. He continued to be very helpful and patient via email as we refined the details and asked many questions about logistics and Covid safety.
Our guide, Willem, was very knowledgeable about all of the areas we were traveling in as well as all of the wildlife we encountered on the journey. He was incredibly organized and punctual, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. He is also a great photographer! The vehicle we traveled in was very comfortable. Willem also planned and transported us to our Covid test at a reliable lab near Kruger so that we would be ready for the flight home.
The itinerary that Patrick put together for us was perfect. We did the company’s Panorama Route and Moholoholo Rehabilitation Center tours, followed by three days at Lukimbi Safari Lodge in Kruger. The sites, activities, and accommodation on the way to Lukimbi were top notch - we would not have changed anything about these first two days! We saw so many amazing and different landscapes and also got the chance to see and learn about many different types of animals. Lukimbi itself was absolutely unreal. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, luxurious lodge with great opportunities for animal sightings. This was such a great suggestion from Patrick for our first trip to Kruger.

I had one of the most amazing experiences in my life. Patrick from Mmilo Tours arranged an wonderful and unforgettable trip for me and my family to Pretoria and Kruger National Park. Patrick’s is a great professional and person, he arranged every detail of my trip (picking us at the airport, transportation to the hotel, tours to the best sanctuaries in Pretoria, he assigned us a very experienced and respectful guide for the 2 days in Pretoria, transportation back to the airport to go to Kruger)
We had another transportation waiting for us at the Nelspruit Airport to go to the park. The Shishangeni Lodge was beautiful, we even enjoyed the pool in our free time. The safaris were great, we saw all the animals even lots of lions!
Patrick is a great person and very professional. He offered me lots of options. He was also very patience with all my questions.
The whole experience was better than I expected.

We spent time in Cape Town, Victoria Falls and Hwange. All reservations and tours were all planned out by Mmilo Tours (Patrick). We had a different guide for each segment, all were terrific and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this trip and want to thank Patrick of Mmilo Tours for a trip of a lifetime

We had a fabulous tour! Out itinerary included Capetown, staying at the Table Bay Hotel, Victoria Falls, staying at the Victoria Falls Hotel, and safari at the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. Overall, the trip could not have been better planned! We had none of the anxiety that travel often brings as our tour took care of every detail. I would highly recommend!

We spent 2 nights in Jburg one and a bit days travel to Kruger staying at Graskop and 3 days Safari at the Mjejane safari lodge. Everything superbly organised by patrick and his colleagues at Mmilo. I can't praise them enough for the smooth orgnisation and the flexibility of our plans. From the moment we were picked up at the airport we were thoroughly looked after by our personal tour guide Norman, who couldn't do enough to make our holiday a trip of a lifetime. we felt safe wherever we went in his capable and knowledgeable hands!
We included Pretoria, Soweto (including lunch) aparteid/Mandela museum and many other locations.
Our scenic route trip to Kruger was super, thoroughly recommend anyone to take the time to do this, especially Blyde canyon.
After the stayover in Graskop (we loved Westlodge) we arrived in time for an evening Safari drive at mjejane, saw big 5 in first outing! The safari team and hotel were all first class.
All in all, i can't praise mmilo enough. Great company and super staff. Special thanks to Norman.

Ower/Director Patrick planned the trip to perfection. We started at the Skukuza camp for a night, to participate the night drive and the next morning' walk. The night drive led us to a lion couple resting in the wood! We then moved to the Sabi Sabi private reserve. Great experience there! Food, lodging, AND game viewing are all perfect. To top the experience, we had a private Panorama route trip. The scenery of the route is magnificent. Our guide/drive Willem is courteous, and very knowledgeable. We truly had a trip of lifetime.

I booked a custom tour with Mmilo Tours leaving from Johannesburg to Panorama route, Blyde Canyon, Kruger Park. Private chauffeur-guide Anton Joubert best guide ever. Everything was perfect. Best trip of my lifetime. Norman at Mmilo tours helped me out choosing the destinations and hotels. Extremely safe, perfectly planned. Would book with them again and again. Thank you Norman & Anton you guys are the best.

Amazing experience from beginning to end, Patrick's attention to detail was impecable, we will book with them all our future trips. Now is the best time to visit South Africa, no crowds, best weather, and everyone so ready to welcome tourists back with arms wide open, all covid protocols followed perfectly. We felt safe at all times.

Leave the city of Jo'berg behind...we truly enjoyed the time spent at the Elephant Sanctuary. Our guide there & the elephant handlers did a phenomenal job. A well cared for facility providing a home for these beautiful mammals. The cable way & view of the dam provided for a relaxing afternoon. Enjoyed the view from the restaurant while having lunch. Our guide for the tour, Willem, was punctual, engaging & provided safe transportation.

Yes so glad you enjoyed it. There is so much to do and see around Johannesburg. The cities reputation distracts attention away from the fact that some of Africa's most interesting places lie within an hour. Mans early origins, worlds' oldest mountains, richest platinum gold and diamond mines, world's largest and oldest visible meteorite/asteroid strike and of course the Elephant Sanctuary!

My kids and I had a layover day in JoBurg and used Mmilo Tours to check out the Cradle. Patrick the owner was very helpful via email while setting up the details, and our guide Anton was great. He was prompt to pick us up at our hotel, and was interesting to talk to as we drove out to the caves. He handled all the details for us about tickets, etc, and a nice lunch was included. Everything went perfectly, and we had a very nice day. Anton even took us to check out a local nursery since he knew my son works at a nursery back home.

Hi, My friend and I have three days in JB before a 14 days safari. I would like a one day safari plus two half day tours of the area. This is for September. What suggestion are out there.

Mmilo would be good for that. There's the Apartheid museum and Soweto in JHB and some nearby game parks. I always take people to the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre for the morning (adults) tour.

Hi, we are a couple (both 52) which will be in Pretoria for 3 days on our way to Cape Town. We would like to spend those days in most effective way and of course, safari is our top priority. Unfortunately, we cannot travel for full 3 days, but only for 2 or 1. We will be very grateful if you could recommend tours to us. I will be very grateful for advices. Best regards Malgorzata

The Pilanesberg is an excellent free roaming game reserve and is our 5th biggest in South Africa. It has the "Big 5" Lion,leopard, Elephant, Rhinoceros and African Buffalo roaming free as well as many other animals such as Giraffe, Hippo, Zebra, crocodile, Ostrich and many types of antelope to name a few.This would be the best choice for you. Mmilo Tours specialises in trips to the Pilanesberg so I suggest you contact Mmilo Tours for instructions on the best ways to get there and where to stay. Patrick

My boyfriend and I would like to come for a one day tour on one Saturday so we can see the wildlife animals. I would like to enquire about the price it would cost us, what time we would have to be there and can we pay when we get there or do we have to pay in advance, as in make a booking in advance? Hi Thulile,
Good day to you. I think you are referring to the day safari to the Pilanesberg. We do not go everyday and only go when a trip is booked and paid for in advance. We usually pick you up at and address that you give us in Joburg or Pretoria and drop you back.The whole trip takes 11 hours there and back and this includes 6 hours on safari in the Pilanesberg. We can include a short visit to City but then the trip takes 12 hours. Lunch is included and this is at a stunning location where you can watch the animlas as you eat. The price for two is ZAR4500.00 or ZAR5200.00 if you include Sun City visit. If this is too expensive then I suggest you rather spend the day at the Rhino and lion Park which is closer to Jo'burg and if you have a car you can go there yourself or we can take you if you want and then the cost including lunch is ZAR3250.00,

We are 4 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 9, 3 generations of the family.
The adults are attending a conference at Sun City and that finishes on the 12th if March. We would then like to have the experience of game veiwing, but stay somewhere suitable for the children. We have 7 nights before we fly back to Australia and thought that we would have the last few nights in Johanesburg.
Do you have any suggestions that are not too expensive.
