Still the best part of the beach in KZN. Waves are fantastic for both surfers and the amateur. The beaches themselves are great with permanent security patrols on the beach.

The Golden Mile is a wonderful place to walk and take it easy. It is a great way to spend an hour or so, but just be sure to wear sunscreen. It is very easy to get cooked.

Broken glass all over the promonade. Hardly any police presence and many vagrants lurking everywhere. It’s a disgrace.

I agree with the two responses already sent, that the best way is by taking a taxi. There is also parking available to leave your car while on a cruise. Trust this will assist.
