We had a day to spare in Durban and thought this would be a good way to both get some exercise and learn something about the area. We did get both but were very disappointed with the quality of the bikes - all were old, two had no gears (and those with gears were not great).

Dear Mary G, Thank you for your feedback and taking time to write an review. About the gear, the city tour in Durban is very flat, so it's actually most suitable with no gear bikes. About the comments about the quality, we will take proper actions. Hope to see you again. Your Bike&Saddle team More

I should have headed the warning signs from the get-go: trying to book a tour with this company was like pulling teeth. It was very difficult to get anyone to respond and the process of booking everything took forever. Eventually, my partner and I did book (and paid for) a tour to the townships. We arrived to the meeting location... More

We were limited by our conference schedule as to our tour dates, and the weather did not cooperate for an optimum bicycle tour. So, Dionne worked around it, picked us up at our hotel, and made sure that we saw all the highlights even in the rain! Dionne was quite attentive to history as well as current events and also... The tour was informative and well presented. I really enjoyed the relaxed cuise around the City of Durban with regular stops at places of interest. I have lived in Durban all my life and still learnt about the history. I would recommend the tour for Tourists and Durbanites alike. The tour was rounded off with some delicious snacks and drinks... Living in Durban for a few months to work, I decided to try and discover Durban's city centre from another perspective. I joined the Bike and Saddle City Tour and can recommend this to anyone (who is of average fitness) visiting Durban! They would not only take you to the beachfront, where you see quite a few cyclists, but also... More

I really enjoyed the cycle ride along the Durban beachfront. It was an effortless ride with an informative guide. Great way to start the day.

I went on this trip as an early morning experience, it was a gorgeous day, the whole experience was wonderful. We were met by Richard and his team, we could choose our bikes, the seats were adjusted to suite our needs, and when everyone was ready we headed off along the Durban Beach Front. It was nice to cycle, but... More
