This is a "there and back" walk - not circular. There are various options on the map, but the only route that is well-maintained is the route which takes you across the pontoon ferry. We tried coming back on the stepping stones and the path...More

A beautiful hiking trail, well maintained and not too extreme. Takes roughly 2,5 hrs round trip. Pristine forest!

If you can make it over the river on the plantoon & into the kloof, you'll be rewarded with a gorgeous waterfall in the rainy season. The route is well marked and maintained. We saw Loeries, Kingfishers & even Fish Eagles !!

Not a difficult hike, although the brave can do the full deal, while the others just do a portion. Easy walkways, and beautiful spots

Really lovely three hour walk, ending up at the waterfall. You can walk or take a canoe, or do both. No where to get drinks or food on the way. Beautiful views and nature all the way. Would love to go back one day.

Starting from the Ebb and Flow restcamp of the SA National Park, there is a somewhat boring "Eastern loop" and a stunning "Western loop" to this walk. We did the whole walk but the best part avoids the grassy Eastern loop. We walked quietly and...More
