Just off the main N2 road between Wilderness and Sedgefield, the Organic Village is a little collection of shops, including an art gallery, cafe/restaurant, and several small retail outlets which include an excellent wine shop. No national chains here, it's all very local and friendly. Well worth a visit!

We stopped in for a light lunch after traversing the Seven Passes Road and were glad we did. This was the ideal way to round off the trip through the beautiful mountain passes that we had just visited. The quality of the food and the standard of service was commendable. After the scrumptious meal, we visited the various stalls in... More

Spacious outdoor area, and we sat outside under the vines. Place was buzzing with bikers. Service was quick, and the food was top class. The smoothies (Beetroot, apple & ginger) was out of this World, and the smoked chicken wraps with salad and fries were tasty and very well presented. Very pleasant experience, and a visit to the shops in... More

Really like this little "village" just off the noisy N2 which still holds a peaceful atmosphere. The wine shop is a delight with all the various beers and gins on sale as well as the friendly chatty owner? or sales person. Also great is the workshop with the wooden driftwood sculptures and the delightful Malawian man. Also great is the sweet... More

Small market with a nice atmosphere. Goods are expensive. Acrotree tree adventures are excellent. Duncan took our group on this adventure. He made this an unforgetable experience. It was great. My son wants to go back.

We popped in here for a quick coffee and had not only great coffee but some delicious cheesecake. The wine / beer store is very well stocked and well priced. The fairy garden, wood art gallery and nursery were also beautiful and had lots of lovely goodies for sale. A lovely restful stop!

8-10 years ago when we first went here, it was lovely. The fairy garden was breath taking and full of life and color and so well looked after. We have been back subsequent times since and each time, it seems to loose something. This time the fairy garden was clearly overgrown and neglected. Looked a bit like a dump from... More

I guess we had expected a lively market but it was the complete opposite. There aren't a lot of shops, but we did find one which sells gorgeous bags, scarfs and earrings. Unlikely to go back.
