The drive there is a bit long - and bumpy- as it is a dirt road once you veer off the main road. However, it is well worth it. The drive from the main road takes you high up the mountain on a scenic winding...More

Well worth the drive out, but concerned about the alien vegetation slowly but surely clogging up the water courses and smothering our indigenous plants.

Yes, indeed, it looks like Africa! How nice. Lovely view, also in the distance, however, nothing else at this lookout point. On the other side, take a birds view from the Wilderness beach. How nice!

Two rivers and a triangle of land between, 2 minute look, then cross the road to watch the paragliders taking off.

From the village of Wilderness it is about 15 minutes drive before you get to this viewpoint. It is definitely worth it and you have a very nice view of the surroundings and the ocean.

Had a great clear day on the Garden route and we decided to go to this viewpoint. Traveling through Wilderness and then climbing to the top. The road is quite rutted out, but can be accessed with all vehicles. Well worth the drive

Definitely worth the trip to say that you have been to the most southern point in Africa and the meeting of the Atlantic and Indian oceans. The new map of Africa was very interesting.
