It should be noted that the waterfall is no longer accessible to the public, as it is on private property. Unfortunately SANParks does not advise visitors of this situation, resulting in many unhappy hikers!!
We picked up Kayaks at Eden Adventures and at the end of a 30 minute paddle and 30 minute walk sat down with a nice picnic that we had purchased earlier in the day.

You can hire canoes at the parking area, which is alongside the N2, the main road as well as the bridge. All very easy to find. As you travel from George to Wildernis it is on your right. You won't miss it.
