If you are looking for a relaxing game viewing trip, then this is it. Pack your cooler box and your meat and do a trip through the park on your way to any of the picnic spots. There are clean and neat Braai facilities as well as clean toilets. Although it's extremely dry in the area you will still be... More

This is a nice little game park to self-drive if you happen to be in the area. It is about 40R (approx. $2.50) per person for a self-drive. The self drive is mostly well marked and takes about 2 hours. We saw 3 rhino, a dozen giraffes, wildebeest, impala, springbok, zebra, ostrich, and some other antelope species. There aren't any... We stayed for 2 nights in a self-catering chalet in the game reserve - what a beautiful setting of the chalet - right in front of which would have been a water hole except for the drought! Animals still came to visit it though which was a bonus! Game aplenty - every drive we went on we saw stacks of... More

Once again I start by saying this is not expensive, only R40 a person. I feel like you get what you pay for here. You see lots of small deer, the old wilder beast and Ostrich and that's about it. There is a nice picnic area to catch some sleep and sit and chill. Overall very disappointed, but the animals... More

The entrance fee for two people was below R 100. Managed to spot different animals. The game reserve roads were not bad.

Although this reserve is smaller, there is still plenty of wildlife to see. Many of the typical animals- kudu, impala, wharthog; but they also have plenty of giraffe, zebra, and rhino! Each time I've gone it has not failed me!

Drove in for an afternoon visit, and immediately came upon a number of kudu, blesbok, and hartebeest, with warthogs and Meer cats dashing across the road in front of me. The real encounters were with the rhino, buffalo, wildebeest and giraffe. It was as though I had the whole 5,00 hectares to myself. Conditions were perfect for game viewing, and... More

We enjoyed a very economical and self guided game drive here. We saw many zebra, and giraffe, kudu and springbok, warthog and two rhinos! Wildebeest too. We even went in our Mazda 5 that is low to the ground and had no problems. If you are in Mafikeng, its is a small park but a great place to take visitors... More
