The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon. When waves are not generated, a bobbing cycle is generated in a diamond pattern.  All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Day visitors pay an entrance fee to the park.

Seems the Valley of the Waves have been recently upgraded. New slides have been added and the restaurants have been changed as well. Everything is clean and neat and there are lots of small kiosks selling drinks and ice cream. This is still a great place to have fun in the sun!

Be prepared for a day of fun. There are lockers and towels that can be hired, and food and drinks are in plentiful supply, all at a price. For the active there are a multitude of activities but for the more sedate the ever popular lazy river is awesome to while away an hour or two on a comfortable tube.... More

The Valley of the Waves at Sun City is still a very fun place with a great activity being offered by way of the wave making machine. The water is crystal clear but as is normally the case with very big pools, leaf and frog catching needs to be continuously kept at peak performance.

Love Valley of the Waves with its wave machine. Was rather overcast but still fun to be in the water. When one gets tired of that there are bars and restaurants right beside it.

Enjoyed some fun hours at Valley of the Waves. Lots of different rides. Crowded, though, and food options are limited and there are long lines to be served. You are not allowed to take your own food in.

We reached here post lunch around 4:30yish. It was the last waves in action and then it got cold to stay further in water. So be here around 2pm to have a great time. Pretty nicely managed. They provide you with free e-lockers.
