This is one of the best beaches I've been to - my favorite so far. Water was a bit too cold - we traveled during the month of February. The atmosphere is so welcoming, so refreshing. Folding loungers are sold at an expensive amount by...More

The water in Cape Town is icy cold and does not lend itself to swimming. Camps bay is a coastal suburb with great restaurants and a lovely beach to relax on with friends and family. You can pack a picnic basket or get takeaways from...More

Staying here at the Bay Hotel, beautiful beach, one of the best sunsets I've seen. Loads of good restaurants, try the Codfather.

From the cruise terminal, you will be right in the V&A area. Basically, once you get onto Main Rd heading Southwest, you follow it through Seapoint, onto Victoria Rd and that will bright you right into Camp's Bay.

An umbrella is about 6-8€ and a chair about 4-6€ for the day some are less. It depends who you rent from, there are several different companies.

Yes there are many chair and umbrella vendors. They will approach you as soon as you walk onto the beach. Prices vary from 4-6 Euro for a sun lounger and 6-8 Euros for an umbrella for the day.
