More
The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

It was a lovely afternoon walk in the Green Point Park. Very impressed with how everything in this place was thought through: clean and beautiful spot, well looked after plants and ponds with birds, plenty of space both in the shade and in the sun...More

Beautiful grounds, well maintained and ample space to roam. Playparks for toddlers and another for bigger kids! Cycling permitted, so bring the bikes, scooters, strollers... Also the venue for the Park Run on Saturday mornings.

We left our bus tour to walk back to our hotel through the park. A park of such diversity, lush grassy areas, many different types of plants, ponds and recreational areas ending up near the arena. A very pleasant walk.

The park is right next to Green Point Stadium. It's the perfect place for picnics, walks and playing soccer or touch rugby. Also a great place to read a book.
