We booked to do this, and our guide Patrick was fantastic. He met us in our hotel and discussed the route for the day, making some excellent suggestions. We set off from the hotel with an audience taking photos of us departing in our leathers and goggles on our superbly Leopard design bike and sidecar. Four wine tastings later, with... More

When an old Cricketer leaves the Crease He rides side car with open mouthed wonder at the views from Signal Hill to Constantia to Camps Bay; at last no regrets. Hi there Thanks for taking the time to post a review of your sidecar experience. Glad you & your husband enjoyed the experience. The Cape tends to be fairly windy in summer, so I'm afraid it's an unavoidable part of the experience if you're out biking. We like to keep our sidecars as authentic and as close to their military... A friend and I took a coastal tour with Cape Sidecar Adventures and it was a dream come true for me. The coastline around Cape Town is spectacular and to end my visit to the city with a trip along it on a warm sunny day under a bright blue sky was simply amazing. Arranging the trip was very easy... Awesome way to spend the afternoon! BRING A JACKET AND SUNGLASSES! And maybe a scarf. It gets very windy and can get cold quite quickly. They do provide a jacket, gloves, and cover for your legs and a cute bandana to wrap around your mouth (a must-have). I did a half-day tour around the peninsula (full day tour was pretty... More
