About
Wild Horizons Waterfront Adventures is perched on the brink of the Atlantic Ocean, in the heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town. The turquoise ocean begs exploration, so under sail or power our scenic cruises navigate the sea to uncover the beauty of Cape Town from a stunningly unique perspective. Through the salty breeze and to the rhythm of the rolling waves, our cruises sweep between the magnificent skyline and coastline, creating unforgettable moments on an unforgettable ocean.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An absolute must-do experience, just for the sunset views alone. The service from the crew was impeccable and the catamaran was well maintained. A fully enjoyable 1.5 hours spent out on the (chilly) waters of the Cape Town harbour.

We did the Sunset Cruise on the Escape Cat and had a brilliant time, with drinks included.
We set sail just as the sun was beginning to go down over the ocean and the boat had around twenty passengers.
The crew were great in keeping us supplied with free bubbly and paid-for drinks - until they ran out of beers! A quick call to another sunset cruise boat brought additional supplies, which was fascinating to watch as they swapped the delivery out at sea, using hooked poles.
Looking inland we had fantastic views of Cape Town and Table Mountain and further round the bay towards Camps Bay.
On the trip we saw a whale and a number of dolphins and then watched the sun set on the horizon. It was magical and memorable and were safely retuned to shore after around one and a half hours.
Remember to take a warm cover up as it cools down when the sun sets!

Amazing experience with unforgettable views of Table Mountain. The crew were extremely professional and made sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. Highly recommended activity to do in Cape Town especially with these guys.

We had a perfect sunset trip on the Serenity catamaran, drinks included. During the trip we enjoyed cool lounge "urban" music. Crew were very friendly. Take some warm clothes (April). I recommend!!

There's several options to choose as cruises but the sunset champagne cruise is great, amazing view, nice for various pictures and a very romantic cruise to do! Recommend for couples!

We had a delightful one and a half hour trip on the "Serenity" catamaran operated by Waterfront Charters. Stunning views & excellent crew who were most attentive to all the passengers. The ship can accommodate about 40 who can either sit outside at the front or rather more comfortably in the semi enclosed cabin. The cash bar has Champagne, beer and soft drinks,- we had pre ordered a bottle of white wine from the very accommodating CO Geoff Girdlestone, & were well plied throughout the trip..
A very eclectic group of passengers from many countries including locals, with ages ranging from 6 to 80. We cruised out past Sea Point into deep & slightly choppy waters, but no one was ill.

A truly memorable experiance and Highly reccomended.

I went alone to the cruise. Though I got to meet like minded people and got along well. It was raining and the cold settled that I found bit difficult to handle initially. Coffee from Figo kept me comfortable and enjoyed the cruise thoroughly

The Peroni cateraman was a good way to go for a sea trip and alcohol was available at reasonable cost. Take some warm clothing though as it does get very chilly. We did not see any dolphins, whales etc but the crew helped make it a good hour and a half hours sailing at 200 Rand each.

I booked an hour trip on Spirit of Victoria boat with waterfront adventures. The boat was old and rusty..with the wind the boat was scarly leaned to one side...the kids on board started screaming and with the floor wet of the boat and extreme leaning, my feet slipped and i got hit in my back. Over and above, the tour actually took us no where, we didn't see Robben Island even from far or went to Sea point as promised. I don't recommend it at all, especially for children

Having done this Champagne Sunset Cruise with my daughter was the best experience to date. Perfect service, fantastic views of the Cape Town harbor and its coastline and the sunset was the best price ... I can recommend a Sunset Cruise on The Peroni Catamaran
