This is the place from which the more familiar pics of Table Mountain are taken. It can get windy on this side, so great for wind surfing, kite boarding and kites. Beautiful beaches and easy access to a wide range of restaurants just off the...More

The water was just fine until it starts to get cool and freezing, the wind would blew everything and that was always the perfect time to go kitesurfing with the family and friends.

The view of Table Mountain is just breath taking. Stayed at Alpha de Cap guest house which is just a short walk from the sea. We went every morning for a walk by the sea as sometimes it gets a bit windy in the afternoon....More

Great beach with lots of surfers. Cold water. View on Robben Island and the mountain. It's about 20 min from town without traffic

Blouberg Beach stretches far up and down the West Coast line. You can enjoy long walks on the beach as well as witnessing the most amazing sunsets.

Some of the best views of Table Mountain are from this side of the city, plus some great surfing beaches and local eateries... try Blue Peter for a sundowner or casual meal

If you are coming to Cape Town, make sure you come to this beach. This is the best view of Table mountain. The bit of a surprise if you go further to Eden on Bay, you will also see Robben Island.
