Great place to enjoy excellent wines alongside the delicious cheese and charcuterie platters on offer. Sit outside by the lake and take in the beautiful surroundings of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Thanks to manager Sylvester for his warm welcome and helpful suggestions.More

What can I say - other than I am sorry! It certainly sounds completely illogical to me too. I will speak to Lorraine to find out what happened and why. My apologies again. Kind regards, Holly

Well worth a visit to savor not only their award winning wines but utterly delicious food platters, and because I know them, their wonderful staff, both front of house and back office that go out of their way to make your visit memorable.

We stopped here on a private wine tour of the stunning Hemel-en-Aarde Valley outside Hermanus. The wines are solid, albeit not spectacular. However, the "small plate" charcuterie and cheese platters are exceptionally generous. We fed five for lunch over two of them. it has a...More

We always enjoy a stop at Sumaridge. The wines are very good and we cannot get them at home. The view from here is one of the best in the valley. They now sell food as well so it is an excellent place for lunch.

We visited Sumaridge during our stay in Hermanus and really enjoyed the visit. This area feels less traveled than Stellenbosch/Franschhoek but packs the same punches when it comes to the wine. We particular enjoyed their reds and the sparkling rose. The views here top notch....More
