Brenton-on-Sea is great for walking and sunbathing and is popular with paragliders. A big rock formation, castle Rock, is a favourite fishing spot for locals. Swimming is dangerous because of rip currents.

If you love nature then this is for you. Not ideal for swimming as the sea can be quite rough, but the beach walks are amazing and the photographic potential is unlimited.

Stunning beach not far from Knysna town. Clean, large and (when I was there end of January) pretty empty!

Such an unspoilt area. Pure sands. An exhilarating walk along the beach blew the cobwebs away. Saw oystercatchers and jellyfish.....Wonderful location.

Fabulous beach away from all civilization.....except for a few B&B, and a couple of small restaurants. Just know there is a small parking lot with public toilets at the top and then a series boardwalk style ramps leading down to the beach. The beach is...More

Such a wonderfully clean beach with amazing rock areas to climb onto and look out over the ocean. No disruption, wonderful pet presence. Awesome spot for some down time on the beach.
